FAQs
Where do sessions take place?
They can be on the phone, video call or in person.
In person sessions take place in counselling rooms at various locations around Liverpool and Wirral. We will try to meet you in an area of the city which is convenient to you. We usually use counselling spaces in church buildings, but if this isn’t something you feel comfortable with we will look at other options.
How long are sessions?
A session is up to an hour long. If at the end of the first session you need more time, your Advisor will be able to give you options for a follow up appointment
What happens during and after a session?
During the session, your Advisor will take the time to understand you and your situation, and use counselling tools to help you in your decision making process.
After the session we will work with you to decide what follow up support may be helpful, including signposting to other services, or seeking local practical support in your area.
